We Can Do Anything Together

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams” – Eleanor Roosevelt

Every revolution begins with a dream. And, for us, that dream was to offer a council of support, stimulation and strength for business owners. Our shared fondness for tea laid the seeds of a beautiful partnership that is committed to enlightening and energizing entrepreneurs on their path to success.

The You’ve Got This summit was the first leg of this journey.

While preparing for this motivating four-day event, we connected with a variety of visionaries. Each of them have dared to dream, danced with discomfort, faced their fear, failed forward and blazed new trails of success. Consequently, they are now enjoying life on their own terms.

We are immensely thankful to our core team, commenters and everyone else who participated in some manner to transform our tea-date into an ongoing movement of empowerment. In addition, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the speakers for being so understanding and supportive of our mission. Their inspirational messages and lively presentation styles resonated deeply with our audience. We couldn’t have asked for a more enthusiastic, effective and effusive show of support. Thank you for your sparkles!

But our trek has just begun.

Let Your Mistakes Fuel Your Success

“Mistakes or failures only indicate that we are attempting, moving forward and taking action in some way.” – Jess and Nora

Two People Sat Down for Tea and the Rest Is History

The implementation of any project is fraught with fissures, and You’ve Got This was no different. We regularly encountered seemingly insurmountable hindrances. But our brilliant team of experts effectively maneuvered around these unexpected bumps by rising to the challenge and focusing their energies on seeking a solution.

Indeed, our aptitude for resolving problems is largely dependent on our attitude towards those problems. Too many professionals give up in the face of a few dark days. Their fear of failure paralyzes them from harnessing their unlimited potential. In all honesty, unless you are an omnipotent human-being, slip-ups are inevitable. More importantly, they are necessary for helping you grow.

“The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one” – Elbert Habbard

We often display a tendency to downplay our gaffes, hoping that sugarcoating them will make them disappear or invisible. THIS nonchalance is our biggest blunder. There comes a time when we need to own our mistakes. Recognize that you are hurting, sit with your discomfort for a brief period, then shrug it off and figure out what you learned from your experience.

Accepting that we are wrong allows us to look past the challenges to pursue answers. Denial will only keep us in the rut. And, funnily, overcoming one obstacle will supercharge us to overpower other obstacles. It’s an amazing ripple effect that will position us for success.

When the summit ended, those impediments didn’t matter a whit; what mattered was that we had achieved our goal. So continue setting your sights on the goal and keep trying until you succeed. Push your limits and never settle for the status quo.

Dial C for Collaboration

“We are brilliant on our own, but, together, this amazing thing was possible to launch.” – Nora Whalen

Entrepreneurship can be a lonely adventure. Hence, it is very important to surround yourself with people who fortify and uplift you with their positive vibes, progressive energy, perceptive insights and unprejudiced feedback. We are blessed to have such dedicated, determined and diligent allies, who treated our dream as their own, and guided us unconditionally every step of the way.

The most wondrous benefit of partnering with people who care is that when challenges do occur, everyone steps up and takes ownership. As a result, no hurdle and no slip-up seem overwhelming. Every glitch simply morphs into an opportunity to learn, share, care, grow and triumph. Hence, remember that you don’t have to do this alone. Utilize the power of collaboration and bring your vision to fruition.

“In a team environment, you can make that change, and bring that gratitude and energy towards a common purpose, so your team can have that collaborative feel that you might be yearning for.” – Jessica Dewell

As a token of our gratitude, we have compiled some stirring snippets from Day 4 of the You have Got This summit. Hopefully, these messages of love, optimism and excitement will serve as a quick reminder to bring you back to the present and cherish every moment of your entrepreneurial journey.
